Jordan Invited as Williams F1 guest at Silverstone

On the 4th June 2004 the BMW scholarship drivers were invited as a guest of the Williams F1 Team to enjoy a days hospitality at an F1 Tyre Test at Silverstone.This included Jordan wearing ‘head phones’ so he could listen to what Montoya or Pizzonia were saying directly to their engineers. Going to different parts of the circuit to view ‘the boys’ in action and enjoy lunch with Antonio Pizzonia (Williams’ Test Driver), to fire a few questions at him about the realms of Formula One.

‘During the day I had a long conversation with Antonio about the difficulties and sacrifices encountered to reach the top and how difficult it was to go through the lower stages’. Incredibly, Antonio was very down-to-earth and even shared a couple of jokes with me. I also spoke to Juan Pablo Montoya, but as you can imagine, he was not as easy to speak to.
